Boat ramp day use fees will be charged again at Wappapello Lake starting April 1.

Boat ramps impacted include Rockwood Point, Redman Creek, Sundowner, Peoples Creek and Chaonia Landing.

Fees were waived at these locations beginning in November 2017.

Day use

A $5 daily use fee can be paid at the honor vault or at the automated fee collection machine located near the Bill Emerson Memorial Visitor Center.

Annual day use passes can also be purchased for $40 at the following locations: the Wappapello Lake Management Office, the Bill Emerson Memorial Visitor Center, Redman Creek and People's Creek campground fee booths, Millie's Convenience Store, Peoples Community Bank at Wappapello and Greenville, the Ozark Federal Credit Union locations in Poplar Bluff and the Richs' Chaonia Landing Resort.

No fees

No fees are charged for those who display an America the Beautiful Senior pass or an America the Beautiful Access pass.

America the Beautiful Senior passes are available to those who are ages 62 and older, for a one-time fee of $80 or $20 annually.

America the Beautiful Access passes are available at no charge to those who are disabled and eligible to receive federal benefits.

Both passes may be obtained online at http://store.usgs.gov/pass/index.html or at any federal recreation provider's office which includes the Wappapello Lake Management Office and the Bill Emerson Memorial Visitor Center during normal operating hours.
