John Greg Browne, 67, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2018 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. He was born June 16, 1950 in Dallas, Texas to the late Roy Browne and Louise Byrnes Browne. He was of the Baptist faith. He served in the United States Army. He was a self employed auto detailer. John Greg Browne, 67, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2018 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

He was born June 16, 1950 in Dallas, Texas to the late Roy Browne and Louise Byrnes Browne. He was of the Baptist faith.

He served in the United States Army. He was a self employed auto detailer. He was a member of the Masons and Shiners.

Surviving are four sons, John G. Browne, Jr. of Neosho, Mo., Richard "Buck" Browne (Melissa), Jeffery Browne (Nicki) and Joshua Browne, all of Jackson, Mo.; two daughters, Heather Spradling (Joseph Geer) of Poplar Bluff, and Holly Browne of Farmington, N.M.; three brothers, Gary Browne (Jeanie) of Farmington, N.M., and Mike Lambert (June) of Ft. Worth, Texas; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and his significant other. Cathy Payne.

Preceding him in death were one brother, Robert Lambert and one sister, Penny Lambert.

Visitation will be at noon Friday, Feb. 2, 2018 at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Elder Robert Duckett will officiate. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens. Online condolences: fitchhillisfh.com
