Travis Kenneth Hart, 39, of Poplar Bluff, Mo. passed away Friday, Dec. 29, 2017 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
He was born Sept. 7, 1978 to Kenneth Hart and Debra Uhl Ford in Poplar Bluff. He graduated from Excelsior Springs High School in 1997. Travis worked as a mechanic for Baldwin Ford. He married Stephanie Baker in Poplar Bluff in 2006. They later divorced.
Travis enjoyed Kansas City Chiefs Football, fishing, hunting, and tattoos. Most of all he loved spending time with his children.
Travis is survived by his two children, Rileigh and Kaden Hart of Poplar Bluff; parents, Kenneth (Terry) Hart of Casper, Wyo. and Debra (Terry) Ford of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; two sisters, Amy (Dwayne) Roberts of Fisk, Mo. and Breck "Mac" (Brandon) Crook of Poplar Bluff; two brothers, Aaron (Ashley) Ford and Dillon (Ashley) Ford all of Rayville, Mo.; one aunt, Elena Hart of Battlefield, Mo.; one uncle, Doug (Dorothy) Uhl of St. Clair, Mo.; grandparents, Jim and Martha Hart of Poplar Bluff and Nadine Uhl of Fisk; his ex-wife, Stephanie Hart of Poplar Bluff; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by grandfather, Eugene Uhl.
Visitation will be held from 1 - 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018 at Moore Funeral Service in Poplar Bluff. A Celebration of Life will be held immediately following visitation at 3 p.m. in the Moore Funeral Service Chapel.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to First Midwest Bank for a scholarship fund for his children.
Travis's final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through organ and tissue donation.
