NEELYVILLE, Mo. -- Michael Paul Robertson of Naylor, Mo., departed this life on Dec. 18, 2017, at the age of 70 at his residence.
Mr. Robertson was born Feb. 5, 1947, in Streator, Ill., to the late Paul Robertson and Kathryn Mouser. In his spare time he enjoyed playing pool with his grandson and playing with his cats and dogs.
Having been a resident of the Ripley County area since 1979, he worked as an EMT for the Naylor/Neelyville Ambulance service in 1983 and was a member of the Naylor American Legion and Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Poplar Bluff.
Mike is survived by his children: Jamie Thompson and husband, Larry, of Naylor and Michael Robertson II of Naylor. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Kyle, Tabitha and Dillon Robertson and Zac, Julie and Rebekah Thompson, as well as two great-grandchildren Zeke and Luna. He is survived by a sister, Nancy Robertson of Minonk, Il.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Joyce Scott and Mary Bohlander, and one brother, Donald Robertson.
A memorial mass service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 23, 2017 at the St. Benedict's Catholic Church in Doniphan, Mo. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fowler & Sons Funeral Homes.
