CLEARWATER -- Cheyanne Burton had a career-high 37 points for Clearwater in an 83-48 win over Ellington on Monday.
Burton made all three of the team's 3-pointers and closed the game with 16 of Clearwater's 24 points in the fourth quarter. She was also 4 for 9 on free throws.
Halle Gooch added 23 points after going 7 for 11 at the foul line and Rachel Rowold chipped in 11 points for Clearwater (2-1).
Hannah Fitzgerald led Ellington with 22 points, including 14 points in the second half.
Van Buren 70, Liberty 50
The Lady Dawgs out-scored Liberty 30-9 in the first quarter thanks to a huge run by Jalynn Morgan.
Morgan, who finished with 30 points, made two of her five 3-pointers late in the first quarter and had 14 points in the frame. She only the only player for Van Buren (3-2) in double figures, though the Lady Dawgs had eight players score.
Madison Berry led Liberty (3-2) with 18 points.
Greenville 50, Campbell 42
Beth Bangert was 8 for 13 on free throws and led Greenville with 22 points as it held off Campbell in the fourth quarter.
Ahead by two going into the fourth, Bangert was 4 for 4 from the line and had 10 points in the fourth quarter. Greenville was 5 for 8 overall on free throws in the fourth quarter and 9 for 19 in the game. McKenzie Miller added 17 points, 13 of that in the first half after she made three 3-pointers.
Claie Parker ahd 15 points for Campbell (0-2) and was 5 for 6 on free throws. Emily Peters added 11 points.
Doniphan 58, Kennett 38
Paige Eddington scored 22 points and Jakelyn Friend added 13, hitting half of the Donettes' 3-pointers for a road win Monday night.
Doniphan led 14-9 after one quarter and extended it to 29-17 by halftime.
Lexi Day chipped in nine points for the Donettes, who were 6 of 14 from the foul line and sank six 3-pointers.
