Darlene Casinger, 88, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2017 at Mark Twain Caring Center. Mrs. Casinger, the daughter of the late Ozro and Ollie (Walker) Leach was born Aug. 30, 1929 in Corning, Ark. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. Mrs. Casinger was an Elementary School Teacher and a member of the Retired Teacher's Association. She enjoyed spending time with her family, quilting and socializing with friends...

Darlene Casinger, 88, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2017 at Mark Twain Caring Center.

Mrs. Casinger, the daughter of the late Ozro and Ollie (Walker) Leach was born Aug. 30, 1929 in Corning, Ark. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. Mrs. Casinger was an Elementary School Teacher and a member of the Retired Teacher's Association. She enjoyed spending time with her family, quilting and socializing with friends.

On Jan. 3, 1949, she married Charles E. Casinger in Powhattan, Ark. He preceded her in death April 17, 2009.

Survivors include two sons, Charles D. (Evelyn) Casinger of Poplar Bluff and David R. Casinger of Ionia, Mo.; four grandchildren, Lesley Ann (Jeremy) Craig of Sedalia, Mo., Chris (Jackie) Casinger of Piedmont, Mo., Molly Casinger of Fort Collins, Colo. and Kelly (Daniel) Campbell of Poplar Bluff; five great-grandchildren, Anders Campbell, Isabelle Campbell, Brooklyn Casinger, Bailey Casinger and Cayson Casinger; and a sister, Linda (John) Wagner of Paragould, Ark.

A great-grandson, Riley Thomas Allen; two brothers, Bill Leach and Jim Leach; an infant sister, Margaret Ann Leach; and a daughter in law, Debbie Jean Casinger preceded her in death.

The visitation will begin at noon Friday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel, with her nephew Rev. Chad Wagner officiating. Burial will be at the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
