Theresa Jean Thiele, 61, of Silva, Mo., passed away Sunday, July 30, 2017 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 23, 1956 to Philip and Velva (Christian) Hawkins in St. Louis, Mo. She graduated from Ritenour High School in St. Louis in 1973. On June 21, 1974 she married Millard "Junior" Thiele in Overland, Mo.
Theresa enjoyed vacationing in Florida and Branson, ceramics, and leading her children's Girl Scout and Boy Scout troops. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Theresa is survived by her loving spouse of 43 years, Junior, of the home; three children, Christiana Thiele of Silva, Jennifer (Daniel) Robertson of Piedmont, Mo., and Joshuah (Jes) Thiele of Terre Du Lac, Mo.; eight grandchildren, Tyler Thiele, Trenton Thiele, Melodee Henry, Kirstlyn Thiele, Charley Thiele, Austen Henry, Chaney Thiele, and Macee Robertson; seven siblings, Sheryl Hawkins of Greenville, Mo., Kari Guccione of Oklahoma City, Okla., Shannon Hawkins of Doniphan, Mo., Ashley Elliott of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Eric (Skyler) Hawkins of Springfield, Mo., and Tommy Hawkins of Doniphan.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Anthony Hawkins.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 4, 2017 at the Highway Missionary Baptist Church north of Poplar Bluff on 67 Highway with Brother Robert Randolph officiating.
