CORNING, Ark. -- Roy Coleman, Jr., 74, of Corning, Ark., passed away Saturday, July 29, 2017 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark. Mr. Coleman was born in Gideon, Mo., on April 20, 1943. CORNING, Ark. -- Roy Coleman, Jr., 74, of Corning, Ark., passed away Saturday, July 29, 2017 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.

Mr. Coleman was born in Gideon, Mo., on April 20, 1943. He was owner operator of Corning Farm Supply. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of Saint Matthew Lutheran Church in Corning. Ark.

He is survived by special friend, Donna Townsend of Corning, Ark.; one daughter, Cindy and husband Matt Woolard of Corning, Ark.; four grandchildren, J.T. and Robbie Woods, Cole and Katie Woolard; one brother, Randal Coleman and wife, Cynthia, of Corning, Ark.; one sister, Brenda Coleman and husband Ross Moore of Lonoke, Ark.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Roy and Vaudie (McDaniel) Coleman Wright; and one daughter, Tina Woods.

Visitation will be held from noon until 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Saint Matthew Lutheran Church in Corning, Ark., with Rev. Jon C. Bischof officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery.
