CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. -- Raegan McAtee missed a perfect day at the Southeast Missouri Swim Conference Championships by 0.66 of a second Saturday afternoon.

The Poplar Bluff swimmer earned the high-point award for her age group by winning all three of her individual events and helping Poplar Bluff win the 200-yard freestyle relay. McAtee and the 200-medley relay finished second by less than a second.

Paige Bradley and Tangant Tuggle also won a race for the Piranhas. Tuggle finished third in the race for the high-point award for 8-under girls.

Poplar Bluff finished third as a team with 2,304 points as Kennett edged River City by 129 points -- 5,002 to 4,873 -- for the team title. Cape County Castaways followed Poplar Bluff by 42 points.

GIRLS 15-18

Bradley won the girls 15-18 division 50-freestyle in 27.61 seconds, beating teammate Morgan McAtee to the wall by 0.07 of a second. Morgan McAtee also placed second in the 100-breaststroke by 0.72 of a second and was fifth in the 200-individual medley.

Raegan McAtee won the 100-backstroke by 1.73 seconds in 1:04.03, took the 100-freestyle by nearly 2 seconds in 56.28 and was 2 seconds faster in winning the 100-butterfly in 1:00.68.

Bradley, the McAtees and Samara Kilgore won the 200-freestyle relay by nearly a second in 1:49.08. Lexi Vaughn, Kilgore and the McAtees finished the 200-medley relay in 2:01.82 behind River City.

Bradley was third in the 100-freestyle and seventh in the butterfly while Kilgore was fourth in the 50-freestyle, fifth in the 100-freestyle and eighth in the breaststroke. Vaughn placed sixth in all three of her races, the 100-freestyle, butterfly and 200-medley.

Haven Phelps (ninth in the breastroke 11th backstroke and 16th in 50-freestyle), Zoeie Hollins (13th backstroke, 15th breaststroke), Electra Destree (16th 100-freestyle, 17th breaststroke, 18th backstroke) and Kayla Zachary (18th in 100-freestyle, 20th breaststroke) also scored points for Poplar Bluff.

BOYS 15-16

Jack Harrison finished second in the breaststroke by 0.04 of a second in 1:07.96 and was second in the butterfly while finishing third in the individual medley. Skyler Zitnak was seventh in both the backstroke and breaststroke while Max Seals was 11th in the 100-freestyle and 15th in the 50-freestyle.

GIRLS 8-UNDER

Tangant Tuggle won the 25-breaststroke by 4 seconds at 23.02, placed second in the 25-backstroke and third in the 100-medley. Maclaren Moore placed third in both the backstroke and butterfly and was fourth in the individual medley. Chloe Fortner was fifth in both the 25-freestyle and breaststroke while placing sixth in the 50-freestyle while Lillie Johnson placed eighth in the breaststroke, 12th in the butterfly and 20th in the 25-freestyle. Cameron Huck (11th in 25-freestyle and 17th in backstroke), Isabelle Davis (15th in 50-freestyle), Katie Cooper (12th in backstroke) and Bree Teters (20th in breaststroke) also earned points.

Moore, Huck, Fortner and Tuggle placed second in the 100-freestyle and 100-medley relays.

BOYS 8-UNDER

Ramiz Mizra finished ninth in the backstroke, 11th in the butterfly and 17th in the 25-freestyle while Chase Mauerer (10th in 50-freestyle, 13th in 25-freestyle, 17th backstroke) also scored in all three of his events while Forrest Huck was 18th in the breaststroke. Chase Wilson, Sawyer Richardson, Mizra and Mauerer were sixth in the 100-medley relay and seventh in the 100-freestyle relay.

GIRLS 9-10

Trinity Tuggle placed third in the 50-freestyle and 50-breaststroke while fourth in the 100-medley. Molly Mauerer was eighth in the breaststroke and 13th in both the 50-freestyle and backstroke while Hannah Wiseman placed 12th in the 100 freestyle, 19th in the backstroke and 20th in the 50 freestyle. Faith McCoullough (11th in the butterfly) also scored points and joined Wiseman, Giavonna Sample and Samiya Anders in placing seventh in the 100-freestyle relay. Wiseman, Maurer, Tuggle and Anders were sixth in the medley relay.

BOYS 9-10

Teagan Kassing, Owen McDaniel, Cyrus Sagharichi and Samuel Johnson placed second in the 100-medley relay while Kassing, McDaniel, Sagharichi and Tucker Dorris were third in the 100-freestyle relay. McDaniel placed third in the breaststroke, seventh in the medley and 10th in the 50-freestyle. Kassing placed fourth in the backstroke and both the butterfly and medley while Sagharichi was eighth in the 50-freestyle and 10th in the backstroke. Dorris (11th in both the 50-freestyle and butterfly), Tristan Morgan (19th backstroke) and Johnson (10th breaststroke, 15th 100-freestyle) also scored.

GIRLS 11-12

Keona Sample, Madison Pennington, Trinity Tuggle and Gabrielle Fortner placed second in the 200-freestyle relay while the 200-medley relay of Abby Wilson, Sample, Fortner and Pennington also took second. Fortner placed third in the 50-freestyle and fourth in both the medley and butterfly. Sample was third in the 100-freestyle, fifth in the breaststroke and sixth in the medley while Pennington finished eighth in the backstroke, ninth in the 100-freestyle and 12th in the 50-freestyle while Wilson (10th backstroke, 12th breaststroke, 13th 50-freestyle) also scored points.

BOYS 11-12

Jackson Moore placed second in both the backstroke and individual medley while finishing fifth in the 100-freestyle. Elijah McAtee was fourth in both the backstroke and breaststroke and fifth in the medley while Carson Todd (ninth in butterfly, 10th breaststroke, 11th medley), Andrew Ruby (10th medley, 11th butterfly, 12th 50-freestyle), Darius Sagharichi (13th in both backstroke and breaststroke and 16th in the 50-freestyle), Roddy Baz (18th in both the backstroke and breaststroke) and Storm Teters (19th in both the backstroke and 50-freestyle) all scored. Todd, Rubi, Baz and Sagharichi were fifth in the 200-freestyle relay and sixth in the medley relay.

GIRLS 13-14

Pamela Lagura finished 14th in the 50-freestyle, 15th in the 100-breaststroke and 22nd in the 100-freestyle while Simone Anders was 19th in both the 50 and 100 freestyle. Natalie Hopkins, Anders, Lagura and Abby Wilson placed fifth in the 200-freestyle relay.

BOYS 13-14

Gavin Vaughn placed fourth in both the individual medley and the breaststroke while finishing sixth in the butterfly. Christian Todd was 10th in both the backstroke and breaststroke while Jack Fortner was 16th in the breaststroke, 19th in the 50-freestyle and 20th in the 100-freestyle. Vaughn, Todd, Elijah McAtee and Jackson Moore were fifth in the 200-medley relay and sixth in the 200-freestyle relay.
