The Agee Community ladies met at the Ryan's Steakhouse, for their July 14, 2017, meeting.
Nickey Orton, was hostess. Cathy Womack, president called the meeting to order and gave the invocation. The ladies repeated their club motto "When your heart is full of love, the world is full of beauty." Roll call response was, Which invention was invented in your lifetime, that has changed your life the most. Some of the answers were washer and dryers, and electricity.
Devotional, read by Orton, from Phillipians 1-6 and Jerimiah 31- 3. "I have loved you through everything." Womack read a poem from Orel Smith's book, "My Flag." Nadine Johnson, read the secretary's report and gave the treasury amount.
Each lady received a yardstick, from Meeks Lumber.
From Readers Digest the ladies read Laughter the Best Medicine. Johnson gave the lesson, from Woman's Day magazine, how to use the extra ice trays for several things. Black River Times was given out and each lady read the quotes.
They dismissed with the club collect and visited for awhile.
