NEELYVILLE, Mo. -- Mary Katherine Morrow, 76, received her wings Saturday, July 1, 2017, at her residence surrounded by family who loved her dearly. Her positive attitude through two battles with breast cancer was an inspiration to all.
Mary was born in Hayti, Mo., Jan. 28, 1941. She was the daughter of Arvel and Ima Williams. Mary was a long time resident of Neelyville, where she met George R. Morrow (Bob). They were married Jan. 17, 1959, and were married for 51 years before he preceeded her in death, June 9, 2010.
Mary took great pride in taking care of her family as a homemaker, hosting family get togethers and cooking for her family was loved and treasured by Mary. Gardening was a nother joy of Mary's and she had a green thumb.
She and Bob raised three children: Terry (John) Ray of Marion, Ill., Lisa "Dee" (Wade) Cavness of Poplar Bluff and Todd Morrow of Dallas, Texas.
Surviving siblings are: Helen Ross of South Wayne, Miss. and Raymond Williams of Memphis, Tenn. She was preceded in death by siblings: Flossie Williams, Evelyn Cagle, Bonnie Holmes, Arvel Williams, Jr., and Willard Williams.
Mary is survived by her grandchildren: Adam Morrow, Andrea Crafton, Logan Stelle, Kati Steele, Holly Steele, Taylor Steele, and Ethan Steele. She is survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Private family memorial service to celebrate Mary's life will be planned at a future date.
