To the Editor,
I have been an Advocate for Missouri State road and bridge repairs and replacement for quite a long time, but, I am still puzzled about the three laning of U. S. 160 from about six miles east of Doniphan, Missouri, to the intersection of U. S. 160 and 67 in Butler County.
If you drive the road in the right hand lane continuously, you get the thrill of being on a rollercoaster. The big question is why, why has the Missouri Department of Transportation not made the construction company that did the job come back and complete the job as it should have been done in the first place?? If they did, would it cost the state additional funds? I hope not.
It would be great if the Department of Transportation would explain the situation in order to get the people of the state to back them on getting the repairs completed on all the state roads throughout the State of Missouri.
