Southeast Missouri Behavioral Health will host training workshop from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, at the First United Methodist Church, 500 N. Main St.
The workshop is free and lunch is provided. These trainings will introduce the developmental asset framework and describe the connection to student achievement, explore how to develop a relationship-based approach to working with families, emphasizing their strengths, capacities, and contributions, and offering tool and strategies for using these approaches.
These workshops are designed for educators, counselors, school administrators, youth workers, youth program leaders, staff from family serving organizations, members of collective impact partnerships and other community coalitions, parenting and family life educators, and social service providers.
