Subscribers get
credit for Monday
I understand that the DAR has quit publishing a paper on Monday. I paid for a year in advance which if they quit Monday that will be 52 papers less per year. Are they going to give us two months free on next year. Please answer this in Speak Out.

Cabbies won't
load groceries
I bought groceries at Wal-Mart, sat on bench and waited for cab to pull up. He shows up and all he does is pop the trunk so I can load my groceries. I needed to sit down. I did. He wanted to know where I was going so I told him. I get home. Same thing. He pops the trunk so I can unload my groceries. Terrible service. That's just one cab company, so I tried another one. All three cab services doing the same way. It's just pitiful. They do nothing, but they expect money. The owners of these cab companies need to tell their drivers to get off their butts and help their customers with their groceries. All they do is sit. Just sitting there collecting money. I won't ride with them again. Any of them. I'm switching to the transit system. Thank you.
Not gettin'
a bargain
I'm calling about the gas prices still being so high. With a barrel of oil being at $31.12 a gallon why are we still paying $1.72 - $1.79 a gallon for gas? Back years ago when the barrels were selling for what they are now, our gas was down to $.69 - $.89 a gallon and when it got up to $90 and stuff we were paying these prices of $1.79 and above. So why are our gas prices so high? We're not gettin' a bargain. We're still getting ripped off! And I think people ought to protest and call them or go on Facebook or do whatever it takes to get them explain why those gas companies are still ripppin' us off. Because that's exactly what's happening and it needs to stop and you can go back and see how cheap oil was when these barrels of oil were at what they are now and high it was when it was $90 and $100 a barrel. We're gettin' ripped off and people needs to wake up and fight back. Thank you.
A message
for Sen. Libla
Dear Speak Out, I have a message for Senator Doug Libla. You raise my gas tax and you're done. You are voted out of office next election.
Barron Road
ice treacherous
Somebody needs to do something about the engineering mistake out there on Barron Road. Somebody's gonna get killed on that ice.
Move to PB
Please print this one. If you're a criminal move to Poplar Bluff. Poplar Bluff Police Dept. doesn't do nothin'. Sheriff's Dept. doesn't do nothin'. The judges just don't do anything, so move to Poplar Bluff and you're scott free. You can do whatever you want and get away with it.
