Honor the
advertising
Gee, isn't it nice living here in Poplar Bluff? Having fast-food restaurants that do NOT follow the advertised specials on television and gas stations that see us as nothing more than a way to pump profits into their little quickie marts enterprises. Yeah, it's a great thing living here in Poplar Bluff when the price of gasoline in Cape is a $1.95 a gallon and we're still paying $2.07. Yeah, we're just a bunch of yokels that let 'em do to us whatever they want to do. Gee, isn't it sweet being in an All-American City or should I say All-That's Greedy in American City? C'mon, you fast-food enterprises and fuel distributors, there's competition out there. Truthfully when my car gets 40 mpg I'll gladly drive to Cape to fill up for that kind of difference in fuel prices. As far as the fast-food people, you need to start honoring the ads that your companies run on television instead of bilking the people who come in your door with no idea that they are not going to get the advertised special.
Falling for a
bill of goods
Having viewed tonight's debate, it really got me a little bit concerned and what really bothers me is the fact that it's the media driving this train-wreck called Trump. Now mind you, his polling numbers are phenomenal, but why? Because the media is giving him all the attention, yet if you pay attention --real attention--you'll notice that when Mr. Trump is high in a number on some polling group those same polling groups when asked who they would vote: Trump, Clinton or Sanders. Clinton and Sanders handily defeat Trump. So why are Americans sitting back and letting the media pull them around by the nose keeping all of the attention away from truly, viable GOP candidates? We're going to be sold a bill of goods on a Rhino called Trump. What has the American public decided to fall for, again? If we get another Democrat in the White House good-bye to our Republic.
