Take driving more seriously

Yes, this is for lady that pulled out in front of me this morning at the viaduct. This is the 29th of Dec. It was your nonchalance at the whole thing that made me chase you down. You acted as if . . . well, if you would have cared you would have stopped immediately when you realized that you pulled out in front of me, but apparently you do not. I just wanted to say your excuse that just got off work, so did I, I told you that, and that you didn't see me. I have running lights on my vehicle. I would suggest that all of us, not just you, but all of us take our driving a bit more seriously. What I was really interested in seeing was if you had a cell phone in your hand. You didn't. Apparently you were distracted talking to your friend in the vehicle. Again, thanks a lot and I hope you have a happy new year because you about destroyed mine. Thanks a lot. Bye.

Which is it dumb or dumber

Dumb, dumber and dumber and I don't know which one is which. We need to have minimum wage for Congress for a year. Congress doesn't get a paycheck until they do something. Plan C instead of B for all politicians, taking a 50 percent pay cut, buy their own health insurance and provide their own pension instead of socking it to the American people. They are a total disgrace to all American citizens. Thank you.

Keep the

factory open

If the union workers didn't want to work for lower wages, let them quit. Keep the factory open as I know hundreds of people that would give anything to have any kind of job even making minimum wage. Of course, there are so many jobs out there that it won't be long, a year or so, until you are making big bucks again. Enjoy your unemployment until the country goes broke or your benefits run out.

Help homeless

Wow! What a deal! $252,000 too the railroad restoration corp. to fix the steps to the old depot--man! That is real important. We have men, women and children that are homeless, hungry and poor. A lot of families that have had their electricity and gas turned off. Senior citizens cold because they can't afford to turn the heat up. People without beds, tables and chairs, refrigerators and stoves. Anything. No transportation. I can get the same job done for about $150,000 and maybe they can donate some to Out of Darknesss Ministries, which help a lot of people.

Making a

difference

Don't pick on my friend, Jo Ann Emerson. She is the most honest, hard working representative Missouri has ever had. I have seen her in little towns all over Southeast Missouri some even out of her territory to help people that needed it. The reason she is leaving is to go somewhere that she can make a difference and not stay in a broken government that hasn't done anything in four years and they sure are not going to start now.
