Methodist Church thanks Larry Hillis

To the Editor:

The Lake Wappapello United Methodist Church would like to thank Larry Hilliss Dodge for their enormous efforts to aid our food pantry, not only with a substantial donation but also with their loving work over the last two weeks to collect food to feed those in need.

Our food pantry has been so very pleased in the past with donations from not only businesses and organizations but from many individuals across the county. Knowing that businesses, such as Larry Hillis Dodge, are so willing to lend a hand helps to make our mission of feeding and clothing those less fortunate a much easier task. Thank you, Larry Hillis Dodge, and thank you to all who donated food on our behalf.

The food pantry is open every Tuesday, except for the fifth Tuesday of any month. Our hours are 9 a.m. - noon. If you live in Wayne County and think you may qualify or know someone who might, please feel free to come by and talk with us.
