POPLAR BLUFF FIRE DEPARTMENT City firefighters responded at 9:26 a.m. Thursday, March 11, to a report of an unauthorized fire at 1337 Meadows Lane. According to the report, firefighters discovered a fire in the back of the residence. The structure was being remodeled and the construction crew on scene were informed of the city’s ordinance on controlled burns.
