Investigate food stamp fraud The State of Missouri really needs to do something to these families that are selling half of their food stamps for half of the face value. I've run into 11 people that sell their food stamps. Some lady sells $200 worth of food stamps for $100 and the people receiving them, I mean, the people buying them need them except there's one guy with a badge who is supposed to be upholding the law and he is the biggest buyer of this whole entire region of food stamps. ...

Plan, don't rush into building new PD, offices

The police department made its case. The city hall feasibility committee listened. The numbers were hard to dismiss. At the end, the committee tentatively agreed. Their conclusion? The Poplar Bluff Police Department needs to be in a separate building from city hall and located on the town's main corridor - Westwood Boulevard - not Downtown...
