‘Boost Your Business’ with chance to win free advertising
Many area businesses are preparing to spring back to life Monday. After a month or more of being closed or with reduced hours because of Missouri’s Stay-at-Home order and the coronavirus, they’re looking forward to recouping some lost revenue.
And they’d like to do that as quickly as possible.
The Daily American Republic — along with our co-sponsors — has put together a promotion to help support small businesses in our area. We’re calling it “Boost Your Business.”
The campaign is simple. We’re giving away free ad space to small, locally own businesses in our area. All they have to do is go to our website — darnews.com — and sign up. There’s no catch. It’s free!
The advertising space is being purchased (so far) by five area businesses, organizations and individuals. They are Saint Francis Healthcare System, state representative candidate Darrell Atchison (District 153), Greater Poplar Bluff Area Chamber of Commerce, Godfather’s Pizza/The Donut House and Quality Air Heating & Cooling.
They purchased a full page each at a reduced rate, and the DAR will select eight businesses for each of those pages from those who sign up on our website and Facebook page.
The pages will run throughout May and potentially into June.
Our goal is to help our small businesses get “out of the gate quickly” after reopening. This will help them get the word out about their business.
If anyone else would like to sponsor a page, please contact Christy, Cynthia or Stacie at 573-785-1414 during normal business hours.
Thank you for reading the DAR.
